Pecora Acrylic Sealant AC-20 FTR

AC-20® FTR is a unique sealant
acrylic latex UL® classified as systems
flame retardants intended for expansion joints and
crossings. Once correctly installed,
these systems effectively contain fire,
smoke, toxic fumes, and water in
a given area, surrounded by partitions
firewall, for a period of two, three, or
four hours, according to the specifications of
design.
Other uses: Excellent
adhesive properties, flexibility and
durability make the AC-20® FTR ideal for
insulate and waterproof around the windows,
doors, panels, facings, ducts and ducts
air, base, etc. It is compatible with all
common building materials, including
those of specialties such as polystyrene,
polyurethane, cork, vinyl (not to be used
on cpvc), and fiberglass.
Used as a sealant
sound-absorbing, AC-20® FTR reduces the
sound transmission in sound systems
partitioning in order to maintain ITS values
specific by sealing the spaces surrounding the
cutouts and perimeters of
partitions. The sealant hardens
into a solid rubber to form a
durable soundproofing.
